The Twists and Turns of Life – Peschiera del Garda, Italy

I’ve always liked the minimalist landscape idea, but most of my pictures are full of detail and contrast.

This is the same pier seen in my previous post, but was taken the night before which was very hazy over the lake. Luckily there was noone on the pier that night which helped the minimalistic feel.

I still had to get some contrast and detail in there, but I think the contrast between the detail in the pier and the smoothness of the water really makes the photo. I really like how the pier has subtle twists at the end, not being perfect adds some interest to the photo.
